Statement of approach to the project
The team proposed a memorial which will be enjoyable and informative. It would reflect Queen Elizabeth's role as wife of King George VI, mother of The Queen, grandmother and great-grandmother. It should show her many interests and her famous sense of fun.
A statue of Queen Elizabeth would join the existing statue of King George VI at the top of the steps. The story of Queen Elizabeth's long life would be told.
