Expressions of interest close   31 January 2006

Shortlist of designers selected   28 February 2006

Shortlisted designers submit proposals June 2006

Final designer selected    September 2006

Announcement of final design  January 2007

Appointment of supporting project team May 2007

Construction completed   December 2008

Unveiling ceremony    To be announced
