FUNDING

The Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Memorial will be funded by the sale of a £5 coin produced by the Royal Mint to commemorate the 80th birthday of The Queen in 2006.

The Chancellor has indicated that up to £2 million in total will be made available for this project, including all related expenses and the official opening.
